We never thought we would see the day but Gorey Bikes has decided to close its shop doors next week...
We are not going into liquidation or ‘going bang’ or ‘bust’ as some may assume (as it’s such common news nowadays). However, we are closing our doors with all our bills paid and WILL BE HONOURING ALL VALID GIFT VOUCHERS AND WARRANTIES. We have a long strong reputation with both our customers and suppliers and intend to maintain our integrity by choosing to take control and not continue our retail shop when it is not viable to do so anymore.
THEREFORE THIS IS NOT THE END FOR US
We will now be concentrating on the development of our online store and some other projects we have planned.SO KEEP AN EYE ON THIS WEBSITE FOR NEWS ON OUR PROGRESS
We will also continue to sell motorcycles, but wholesale only, therefore all the bikes listed on our website will be available to purchase through your local motorcycle dealer.
SO PLEASE DO KEEP CHECKING BACK TO OUR STOCK LIST AS IT WILL BE UPDATED REGULARLY AS USUAL.
We will continue to provide warranty cover to all of our customers that have bikes purchased from us still in warranty. Each relevant customer will be contacted with a contact number as our usual shop phone line will soon no longer be active.
Any other issues customers may have, such as outstanding gift vouchers can contact us via email (sales@goreybikes.com). Also, any valid gift vouchers will be redeemable on our online store.
Gorey Bikes Ltd has always stood over the quality of our bikes and of our service, such quality comes at a cost (i.e. skilled team of staff, large modern showroom, etc). We feel that to continue to provide quality products to our customers at prices that can compete with the online market and with people’s current low cost expectations would mean either compromising on our quality of product and/or service. This is a compromise we are not prepared to take. Therefore we have chosen to close our retail shop doors, for now, and just trade online and wholesale to reduce outgoings and staff requirements while still retaining our quality of service and product.
OUR RETAIL SHOP WILL OPEN FOR ITS LAST WEEK AND CLEARANCE SALE FROM TUESDAY 5TH JANUARY @10AM AND CLOSE FINALLY ON SUNDAY 10TH @ 5PM.
ALL CLOTHING, HELMETS, GLOVES AND BOOTS WILL BE 50% OFF NORMAL PRICE, TYRES AND PARTS TO CLEAR AT COST PRICE. BIKE PRICES ARE OPEN TO NEGOTIATION !
And lastly a note if there are any budding entrepreneurs out there who feel they could make a go of a retail shop themselves, our premises is available for rent and it is a well known draw for bikers all over the country, just drop us an email if you have an interest !
